WWW Wednesday: June 17th, 2026

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Here is what I am reading, what I recently finished, and what I plan to read from Thursday to Wednesday.

Let me know if you have read or plan to read any of these books!!

What I am currently reading:

Book #22 in the Hollywood Alphabet Thriller Series, finds Detective Kate Sexton investigating the bizarre murder at a party house called the Jukebox, frequented by celebrities in the Hollywood Hills. Things take a strange turn when the killing is tied to a five-year-old cold case. What follows is a race against time, as Kate tries to find a serial killer at the same time she seeks those responsible for the long-ago disappearance of her biological father.

Hollywood Vendetta is another edge-of-your-seat thrill-ride that has made this series an instant success. Toss in Kate’s best friends and private investigators, Natalie and Mo, and you have an instant recipe for page-turning suspense and laugh-out-loud humor.

What I recently finished reading:

Retired Detective Pearl Kramer is back and he’s ready to fill in the details about a terrorist group that wants to take down our government. At the same time, he gives LAPD Detective Kate Sexton information about the biological father she’s never known.

Hollywood Underworld, the twenty-first book in the Hollywood Alphabet Series, is a race against time to find the most wanted terrorist in the world. Nathan Caine has killed before and he’s ready to kill again, but this time the stakes are higher than anyone could ever imagine.

Hollywood Underworld is M.Z. Kelly’s most gripping novel of suspense yet—filled with twists and turns that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

What I plan on reading Thursday through Sunday:

Hollywood Wanted has it all…

The murder of a high-profile attorney, a terrorist determined to take down our government by force, and a thirty-year secret about LAPD Detective Kate Sexton’s bio-dad.

Hollywood Wanted promises all the edge-of-your-seat suspense that has kept readers turning pages of these books for years. A can’t miss read that begins to unlock the final secrets in an unforgettable series!

MURDER…TRUTH…LOVE…TERROR…FAMILY

LAPD Detective Kate Sexton is back and all the elements that have made this series an instant success come together in one explosive ending. A killer who calls herself the Red Queen, the world’s most wanted terrorist, a simmering love story, and Kate’s long-lost father all come into play.

LAPD Homicide Detective Kate Sexton is running on empty. Her fiancé is missing. The life of the father she has never known is at risk. And, the world’s most wanted terrorist is coming for her. As Kate considers walking away from the city and the job she loves, there’s a homicide case to solve and there’s an end game in play.

Can Kate outwit a deranged killer the press has dubbed The Reaper and stop a terrorist that has haunted her life and destroyed her family? She knows it will take every bit of skill and cunning she has left. This is the end game; a poker hand where the death card is in play. It’s all in, win or die!

The final book in the Hollywood Alphabet Series is here! LAPD Detective Kate Sexton has finally found her biological father and she’s ready to call it a career. But when she learns the husband and best friend of a famous actress have been murdered and the actress has gone missing, she agrees to take one final case. It’s up to Kate to find the killer and determine if the actress has met the same fate.
At the same time, Kate’s on the trail of the world’s most wanted terrorist, the man responsible for destroying her family and haunting her life. What follows is a deadly cat and mouse game where every ounce of skill and determination is in play. This is the final hand in a poker game where the death card has been dealt. It’s winner take all, kill or be killed.
