WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Here is what I am reading, what I recently finished, and what I plan to read from Thursday to Wednesday.

Let me know if you have read or plan to read any of these books!!

What I am currently reading:

Supernatural meets Mission: Impossible in this new release from author Jessica Meigs!

After the death of her partner in an assignment gone wrong, Riley Walker is reassigned to work for a top-secret government agency she never knew existed: The Unnaturals. There, she learns of the existence of creatures out of her wildest nightmares. Vampires. Demons. Werewolves. And worse. And it’s up to The Unnaturals to prevent these creatures from destroying humanity.

Tasked with investigating the supernaturally related murders of twenty-seven Unnaturals agents and saddled with a new partner she doesn’t want, Riley quickly runs afoul of vampires intent on making her number twenty-eight. As she races the clock to track down the one weapon capable of killing the strongest breed of vampire, she uncovers a web of lies and secrets from the unlikeliest of sources and hints of something much bigger going on underneath the surface.

This is the first book in The Unnaturals Series. The second book, Hellforged, is available now on Amazon!

What I recently finished reading:

Ashton Miller is one of the best covert operatives in the United States’ employ.

Zachariah Lawrence is a newer field agent out to impress his superiors and earn a promotion.

When the two men are assigned to work together, Ashton is less than thrilled. The last thing he wants to do is oversee a rookie, especially one as stubborn and reckless as Zachariah.

But when Zachariah goes missing on an undercover assignment in Bolivia and is written off as a lost asset, Ashton is compelled to go on an unauthorized one-man mission to rescue him from the clutches of Nathan Chambers, an arms dealer and drug lord who leaves a trail of bodies wherever he goes.

There’s a reason why Chambers is so dangerous, and the two men find out why when they end up on the wrong side of supernatural creatures they never knew existed. And now, the wolves are out for their blood.

This book takes place prior to the first book in the series, The Unnaturals.

What I plan on reading Thursday through Sunday:

Zachariah Lawrence wants out. After working covertly for the United States government for nearly a decade, he’s had enough, a feeling compounded by the fact he was forcibly turned into a vampire during his last assignment for the secretive Unnaturals organization. And with his new apprentice Riley Walker on the run after being declared rogue by their superiors, Zachariah and his partner Ashton Miller race to help her as they realize she has something much more dangerous than vampires on her demons. But any plans Zachariah makes to ensure their safety quickly fall apart when one of them is possessed by a demonic force and turns against the others. As Zachariah reels from the betrayal and struggles to deal with a demon problem that is quickly spiraling out of control, he is forced to turn to the unlikeliest of sources for Agency Director Damon Hartley. And it’s through him that he discovers there’s something much bigger going on, something…biblical. This is the second book in The Unnaturals Series.

Scott Hunter hadn’t expected to end up in New Orleans.

But that’s where he and his partner, Riley Walker, have found themselves: in the heart of a city known for its connections to the supernatural. That reputation is well earned—and makes itself known when the bodies start to drop around them.

Scott quickly realizes what’s after them this time: werewolves. But they’re not acting alone. There’s a woman, one dressed all in red, one with the ability to command werewolves to her will. And she’s fixated on Scott as her next target.

This is book three in The Unnaturals Series.

The book is not on Goodreads. But it is on The StoryGraph and Amazon. The picture contains a link to Amazon.

When Ashton Miller met his fate at the hands on Brandon Hall, his life ended. Everything he thought he knew was cast aside, and in his place rose the reaper Abdiel.

A near-legendary figure with a haunted past, Abdiel has been granted a single chance at redemption. His mission: to protect the Witnesses at all costs, even if it means his life. Again.

But the mission is rife with problems. The Witnesses don’t trust him. The Mother of All Dark Things and her demons are not only still after them, but they’re gunning for the goal of opening the gates of Hell itself. And his charges have managed to unwittingly unlock the beginnings of their powers without any idea how to use them. It’s up to Abdiel to not only teach them now to wield their powers, but to also help stop Ahm before it’s too late.

Reapers is the fourth book in The Unnaturals Series.

An emotionally injured veterinarian assistant tries to resist the heat of a blazing hot firefighter, but she can’t avoid the flames of his passion. The desire in her eyes when they flirt isn’t his imagination. Winning her heart is a challenge he’s ready to meet.
